ZOOM Erlebniswelt

The ZOOM Erlebniswelt in Gelsenkirchen is a child-friendly zoo divided into three themed areas – Asia, Africa, and Alaska. The circular paths of about 1.3 kilometers offer visitors numerous perspectives on the animals. The giraffes in the Africa section and the large indoor playground in Asia are particularly popular. The zoo is clean and provides many opportunities for children to explore the animal world. A turtle garden and a farm with pets promote understanding of animals. In winter, some animals are indoors, but there are discounted tickets. However, parking and snacks are quite expensive.
