The play, sports, and kickabout area Stephanring in Leer (East Frisia) is a child-friendly place that currently faces some challenges. The large wooden play structure, which was once the main attraction, has been closed for some time and shows signs of neglect. Despite being classified as one of the four key playgrounds in the city of Leer, visitors expect a more appealing design. There are currently no special features, and the removal of the wooden play landscape and the bridge has further diminished the attractiveness of the area. A timely refresh would be desirable.
