Playgrounds in Erlangen

Spielplatz Löhestraße

“The playground on Löhestraße offers a beautiful, tree-surrounded environment that provides shaded areas for children and parents. The equipment is diverse and offers numerous play opportunities for small children, including an exciting climbing frame. However, one should be cautious of the 'mold trap' as it is easy to lose sand toys on the way to the slide. Parking options are limited, with the street in the residential area being the better option, as many parking spaces are reserved for residents. After bad weather, the playground may be less inviting.”

Spielplatz Komotauer Straße

“The playground on Komotauer Street offers a spacious area surrounded by shade-giving trees. Ideal for hot days, children can play here undisturbed. The equipment includes a large, clean sandbox, a tall slide, and gentle swings for the little ones. Older kids will find challenging play equipment as well as a trampoline and water games that provide extra fun. Restrooms are also available, making the visit more comfortable.”

Spielplatz Bohlenplatz

“Bohlenplatz is a spacious and well-visible playground that is ideal for families. It offers shady spots, water games, and two slides suitable for both older and younger children. The cleanliness of the playground is appreciated by visitors. Additionally, there is the option to play table tennis, which adds extra fun. However, the presence of overprotective parents can slightly dampen the atmosphere.”

Spielplatz Kapellensteg Westufer

“The Kapellensteg Westufer playground in Erlangen is a child-friendly place, ideal for younger children. With a rating of 4.4/5, the playground offers shady spots under trees, a slide, and clean restrooms. The regular renewal of the sand ensures a well-maintained environment. The passing boats are particularly popular, making the playground a special experience. Even on sunny days, it remains pleasantly shady thanks to the trees, making it a perfect spot for families.”
